Project Resource Management SuiteApp End of Support — October 27, 2026
Oracle is ending support for the Project Resource Management SuiteApp on October 27, 2026. Accounts using it must audit dependencies and uninstall before that date; existing project task assignment and resource allocation data will be preserved.
What changed
NetSuite is ending support for the Project Resource Management SuiteApp effective October 27, 2026. After that date the SuiteApp will receive no further updates, bug fixes, or customer support from Oracle.
Uninstalling the SuiteApp does not delete existing project task assignment or resource allocation data. The underlying records remain in the account.
What to do
The deadline is tight — October 27, 2026. If your account has this SuiteApp installed, start immediately.
- Inventory all dependencies. Audit every touchpoint that references Project Resource Management artifacts:
- Custom records and fields — search for custom record types or custom fields sourced from or linked to the SuiteApp's bundle.
- SuiteScript — grep your File Cabinet scripts for any
record.load/record.createcalls,N/searchorN/querymodules, or scheduled/map-reduce scripts that reference record types or fields introduced by this SuiteApp. - Workflows — check workflow trigger conditions, actions, and transition criteria that depend on SuiteApp-provided fields or records.
- Saved searches and reports — identify any saved searches or SuiteAnalytics workbooks that use columns or criteria from the SuiteApp's schema.
- Integrations — review any SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST) integrations, RESTlets, or external systems that read or write records owned by this SuiteApp.
- Evaluate replacements. Oracle points to two alternatives:
- Resource Allocation Chart/Grid SuiteApp — covers visual resource allocation planning.
- Project Task Manager SuiteApp — covers task-level management.
- Migrate customizations. Repoint any scripts, workflows, saved searches, and integrations to whichever replacement SuiteApp you adopt — or to native project records if no SuiteApp is needed.
- Uninstall the SuiteApp. Navigate to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List, locate the Project Resource Management bundle, and uninstall. Confirm that existing project task assignment and resource allocation data persists as expected in a Sandbox first.
- Test in Sandbox. Run the full uninstall-and-migrate sequence in a Sandbox or Release Preview account before touching Production. Validate that saved searches return correct results, scripts execute without errors, and integrations continue to function.
Technical notes
Oracle's release note does not specify which custom record type IDs, field IDs, or script IDs ship with the Project Resource Management SuiteApp. To identify them, go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List, click into the bundle, and review the Bundle Contents tab. That will give you the definitive list of objects you need to decouple from before uninstalling.
