Commerce Extensions: Rolling Update Log Through April 2025

This page is Oracle's rolling changelog for all NetSuite Commerce extensions — individual SuiteApp bundles that add functionality to SuiteCommerce and SuiteCommerce Advanced web stores. It is not tied to a single NetSuite release; extensions ship independently. Below is a digest of every entry with actionable detail, organized by extension.

Key extensions and notable changes

SuiteCommerce Extension Management (Bundle 521562)

• v2024.2.20 (Nov 2024) — Fixes an activation bug. Action required: reactivate all extensions after updating to avoid website breakage.

SC Advanced Sign Up (Bundle 334830)

• v1.0.6 (Apr 2025) — Adds required-checkbox validation error message, adds Türkiye to Country field options, minor perf fixes.
• v1.0.2 (Sep 2020) — Changed the LeadSource field behavior: the value is no longer set during customer creation via script. Action required: verify the saved search used for auto-approval references the correct LeadSource value or remove LeadSource from the search criteria.
• v1.0.0 (Jun 2020) — Initial release. Creates lead or customer records in NetSuite from an alternate sign-up form.

SC Google Tag Manager Editor (Bundle 250341)

• v1.4.2 (Mar 2023) — Updated for Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Requires SuiteCommerce 2023.1+. Action required if already using GA4: remove the GA4 service, re-add it via GTM Editor, then review and publish in Site Management Tools.
• v1.4.0 (Oct 2022) — Adds GA4 support.
• v1.3.1 (Nov 2020) — Adds Restore Defaults feature (updates variables, triggers, service tag values). Action required: if using ZenDesk service, either run Restore Defaults or remove/re-add the ZenDesk service. If using Google Analytics service, remove and re-add it — the old tag becomes invalid on update.
• v1.3.0 (Jun 2020) — Adds AWIN, ChannelAdvisor, LivePerson, ShareASale service support.
• v1.2.0 (Jan 2020) — Duplicate-service detection fix.

SC Product Feeds (Bundle 250407)

• v1.03.3 (Oct 2024) — Tighter access permissions for Product Feeds settings. Adds many new Google attributes for saved searches. Note: attributes are not auto-added; you must manually add them to your saved search.
• v1.03.0 (Jan 2021) — Now supports assembly items (exports the assembly, not its components).

SC Stock Notifications (Bundle 250891)

• v1.1.6 (Feb 2022) through v1.1.0 (Jan 2020) — Multiple minor fixes. v1.1.0 action required: after updating, either create a new email template and assign it in the Email Template field on the Stock Notifications tab of the SuiteCommerce Configuration record, or download the updated stock_notifications_email.template.ftl from the File Cabinet and rebuild your existing template from it.

SC Custom Fields (Bundle 247488)

• v1.1.3 (Jul 2020) — PDP fields now supported on matrixchilditems field set. Label/Field ID fields accept basic HTML. Adds JSON-LD structured data markup via Schema.org Property field (requires SCA 2020.1+).
• v1.1.2 (Mar 2020) — PDP fields can now appear in the Quick View window. Use the Hide from Quick View checkbox to suppress specific fields.

SC Cookie Consent (Bundle 402703)

• v1.0.0 (Oct 2021) — New extension for GDPR/PII cookie consent banners. Required if the SuiteCommerce Analytics Data feature is enabled.

SC Blog (Bundle 350138)

• v2.1.0 (Mar 2021) — Adds Blog Spotlight via SMT, RSS feed link display, JSON-LD support.
• v2.0.0 (Sep 2020) — Complete rewrite managed via Site Management Tools. The old extension was renamed to SC Blog Legacy (Bundle 250929 v1.1.1), which adds an export feature for migrating content to v2.

SC Gift Certificate Management (Bundle 243341)

• v1.2.6 (Mar 2024) — Custom record permission fixes.
• v1.2.0 (Feb 2020) — Adds Price Range, Date Format, Date Sent, Remove/Undo Remove fields. Gift certificate group name on PLP via Name field. Theme Customizer options for font, color, border.

Other extensions (minor/perf-only updates)

• SC Columns (249263) — v1.1.1: custom record permission fixes. v1.0.2–1.0.3: Image Size ID field added, image optimization.
• SC Inventory Display (251783) — v1.2.1+: assembly item and matrix option support; optional available-quantity placeholder in Low Stock Message.
• SC Infinite Scroll (251769) — v1.1.0: removed Page Loading Increments from SuiteCommerce Configuration record.
• SC Featured Category (250732) — v1.2.0: Category ID replaced with a picklist Category field. v1.1.2: CCT multi-instance fix.
• SC Featured Product (250724) — v1.1.0: Product ID replaced with picklist Product field; Theme Customizer image alignment.
• SC Product Comparison (251558) — v1.0.4: .default image fallback when no .thumbnail exists; Show Rating in comparison results.
• SC Product Lead Time (251993) — v1.1.0: adds Maximum Number of Days at extension and item level.
• SC Size Chart (249416), SC Look Book (251572), SC Shipping Bar (249983), SC Map & Contact (249788), SC Newsletter Sign Up (249935), SC Photo Gallery (249422), SC Slideshow (250352), SC Testimonials (248760), SC Best Sellers (244097), SC Image Text Overlay (249292), SC Logo List (248750), SC Grid Order (251806), SC Order Status (251993), SC Gift Wrap & Message (248547), SC Product Page Printer (344590), SC Item Badges (251246) — all received minor fixes and performance improvements across various versions.

What to do

1. Extension Management (Bundle 521562): If you updated to v2024.2.20, reactivate all extensions immediately.
2. GTM Editor: If on v1.4.2 and using GA4, remove and re-add the GA4 service, then publish via SMT. If on v1.3.1 and using ZenDesk or Google Analytics services, remove and re-add them or use Restore Defaults.
3. Stock Notifications v1.1.0: Update your email template — either create a new one or re-import stock_notifications_email.template.ftl from File Cabinet.
4. Advanced Sign Up: If on v1.0.2+, verify your auto-approval saved search handles the LeadSource field correctly (it is no longer set by the customer creation script).
5. Product Feeds v1.03.3: Manually add any desired new Google attributes to your saved search — they are not added automatically.
6. Cookie Consent: If SuiteCommerce Analytics Data is enabled, install Bundle 402703.
7. Blog v2.0.0: If migrating from Blog Legacy, use the export feature in Blog Legacy v1.1.1 before switching.
8. Custom Fields v1.1.3: JSON-LD structured data requires SuiteCommerce Advanced 2020.1 or later.
9. For all extensions: these are delivered as bundles. Update via Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles using the Bundle IDs listed above. Extensions must be provisioned in your account before they appear.
